How WindowsDevice Works

Start with the symptom, use only safe homeowner checks, and compare repair options. If professional help is appropriate and a referral channel is available, you may contact an independent provider. Your service agreement is with the contractor you choose.

1. Read the Matching Problem Guide

Identify the appliance, symptom, model, and any displayed message. The guide helps organize the next safe steps; it is not an on-site diagnosis.

2. Decide Whether to Request Help

Stop DIY work when covers, internal wiring, gas systems, or unsafe access are involved. Emergencies require appropriate emergency services.

3. Confirm Provider Details

Confirm appliance experience, address coverage, diagnostic fee, availability, required licensing and insurance, and estimate terms.

4. Choose an Independent Contractor

The provider controls its own work, pricing, scheduling, and guarantees. WindowsDevice does not warrant or guarantee contractor work.
